Welcome to Northcote Cricket Club
Northcote Cricket Club was founded in the mid 1870’s and has played a crucial role in the community in and around Northcote. Northcote Cricket Club entered the District Cricket Competition in 1907 and has a proud history of producing Test and First class cricketers including Bill Lawry, Gary Cosier, Rodney Hogg, Michael Lewis through to modern day stars Marcus Stoinis and Matt Short.
We are a club that prides itself on its culture and people, providing an inclusive environment for all and while also giving our players with the opportunity to perform at their best.
We play a crucial role in the Cricket Victoria Pathway system that enables young players to enter a Premier League cricket club via the Matt Short Academy and through to the Dowling Shield.
